Veda Parayana Ghoshti honoured.

During Brahmotsavam and on festival days, the presiding deity of the Temple is taken on procession so that people who are unable to visit the Temple will have darshan in the street near their houses. On such occasions, the Veda PaaraayaNa GhOShTi also follows the deity in procession reciting the Veda mantras and paasurams from Naalaayira Divya Prabandam. They are styled as PallaaNDu ghOShTi. To honour those people engaged in Bhagavat Kainkaryam, they are invited for lunch. After lunch is over they do pooja and bless the host. On 26th March 2010 Sri Prasanna Venkatesa Perumal Devasthanams Brahmotsavam, Car festival took place. On this auspicious occasion, the Veda PaaraayaNa GhOShTi people were offered lunch.
