I am a Sourashtrian, hailing from Madurai. Our community is a silk weaving minority in Tamil Nadu, said to have been migrated from the region of Saurashtra in Gujarat some 1000 years ago.

We have preserved our distinct Language Sourashtra and made it a literary language to get BhaSha Samman award from Sahitya Akademi.

I am a retired Manager of LIC of India, now residing in MADURAI.

I am not a member of any political party but a strong sympathizer of BJP under the present Leadership of Sri Narendra Bhai Modi ji.

Would like to revive our contact with our home land Saurashtra.

I am Secretary of Sourashtra Vidya Peetam, Madurai. I am engaged in the development of Sourashtra language and literature. I have assisted Dr.Uchida Norihiko, KOBE, Japan, for compiling Saurashtra-English Dictionary in 1990.  I have compiled English-Sourashtra Dictionary, which is yet to be published.

Hedde Jomai - Sourashtra Film - visit to Paramakudi

A Sourashtra Film by name Hedde Jomai was released in Paramakdui.

The Director took the Actors to Paramakudi on 1st January 2014.
